My experience in the health and fitness industry exceeds 10 years across Australia and the United States of America. I grew up on a farm in country Victoria, participating in many different sports and cultivating an active lifestyle that would shape who I am.
I’m an adventurer who loves being in nature, staying active and meeting new people. Extensive travel has allowed me to experience many cultures, teaching me important lessons around being socially connected and that opportunity generally lies outside the box.
With years of experience in the realm of movement, my interest expanded into how we fuel our bodies and the importance of recovery; allowing adaptation and growth. I continued to explore other ways to optimise performance not just on the sporting field but in life through cognitive function, emotional management and breath.
I created Move.with.EmmaG to share my learnings and inspire others to make choices to optimise their physical, mental and social wellbeing. I believe training with the brain and nervous system in mind helps target the deeper issues commonly overlooked or misunderstood that have a significant effect on our communities.
I hope that my work will inspire individuals and organisations to look deeper at their health, and cultivate a happier, healthier and more productive community.
